Italians are known for their love for pasta, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that a pasta dish is on the top of our list. Pasta carbonara is a classic and well-loved dish. This sophisticated meal requires you to toss the pasta in a delicious cream sauce. Notably, the sauce is made with garlic, Parmesan, shallots, egg yolk, and pancetta or bacon.

  • Ricotta Stuffed Squash Blossoms

Ricotta stuffed squash blossom is another wonderful Italian delicacy you cannot afford to miss this summer. Get started by getting zucchini or squash blossoms from a local farmer’s market near you. If you don’t have a farmer’s mark nearby, you can check for them at your local Italian grocery store.  Mix lemon zest, Parmesan, egg, and ricotta, and put the mixture inside the blossoms. Fry the combination until the inside melts and the blossoms become crispy.

  • Chicken Piccata

To make chicken piccata, cover your chicken breast with flour and pan-sear and cook it inside a peppery sauce that contains lemon, chicken broth, capers, garlic, and butter. Once you are done with this, your chicken piccata is ready to be served.

Another common meal you can find in any Italian home, is a traditional egg bake. The first thing you need to do is to prepare the garlic tomato sauce that is filled with lots of melted cheese. Then, bake the eggs into the sauce and use savory herbs as toppings. This delicacy can be served any time of the day.

  • Stuffed Chicken Marsala
